How to get there:

Parking: Free parking is available directly at the Hotel Die Kleine Post. 

Check-in: Your room will be ready from 2pm on the day of your arrival. 

Check-out: We kindly ask you to vacate your room by 10pm on your day of departure. 

Reception: The reception at the Hotel Die Kleine Post is open daily until 10pm. 

Location: Our 3-star hotel Die Kleine Post is located at the centre of our mountain village of Sulden, at 1,900 metres. 

Activities: Sulden has an excellent infrastructure. Hiking routes start right from our hotel. The cable car lines are just a short walk away. The ski season starts as early as November. In winter, the ski bus stops right outside our front door. The mountaineering schools Alpinschule Ortler and Feel the Mountains as well as the Sulden ski school offer a wide range of classes and guided tours, including high alpine tours up the Ortler and the Königsspitze.

Hotel rates: All hotel rates are given per person and night. Breakfast & half-board: All rooms may be booked with breakfast only or with half-board. If you opt for the latter, your booking will include a 4-course evening menu at the Hotel Die Kleine Post. 

Children's rates: Children up to the age of 3 stay in their parents’ room free of charge. A discount of 30% applies to children aged between 3 and 14. 

Holidays with dogs: Your four-legged friend is welcome at the Hotel Die Kleine Post, provided you let us know in advance. Please bring a mat for your dog to sleep on. Out of consideration for our other guests, we kindly ask you to keep your dog on a lead. Keeping dogs on a lead is also mandatory outside the hotel, in the Stilfserjoch National Park. A charge of €10 per night applies for dogs (food not included).   

Booking policy & deposit: Bookings are binding only after written confirmation and a deposit of €100 per room. You can either provide us with your credit card number or make a bank transfer to Hotel Post, Andreas Wallnöfer. Please specify “deposit” as the purpose of the payment and include your name and booking number.

Payment options: You can pay your bill in cash, by debit card or the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard. 

Cancellations: 

• Not being able to go on a trip is difficult enough. To ensure that you come out of a situation like that without financial damage, you should plan ahead. We recommend taking out a travel cancellation insurance policy with Europäische Reiseversicherung AG. 

As a special service, we give guests the option of paying their deposit together with the travel cancellation insurance premium online.

Cancellations are always unpleasant – for you and for us. To make things go as smoothly as possible, please read through the information below. 

Please note that there is no right of withdrawal as defined by the Consumer Protection Code – however, we do offer the following cancellation policy for our guests: 

• No cancellation fees are charged up to 10 days before the agreed arrival day.
• In case of cancellation within 9 days before the arrival date, the deposit will be retained, and the remaining amount of the tour price will be charged.
• In case of no-show, late arrival or early departure, the total amount will be charged.

Information provided in accordance with Part III, Title III, Section I, of the Consumer Protection Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005):Cancellations will only be accepted in writing. 

Local tax: The local tourist tax amounts to € 3.20 per person and day (from the age of 14). Please note that the tourist tax is added to your nightly rate.

• Gourmet hotel restaurant: We will be pleased to reserve a table for you for lunch or dinner in the restaurant of our sister hotel Die Post.

• Outdoor highlights: Guided tours with certified hiking guide Dagmar from the Hotel Die Post am Ortler. Registration required (at least 24 hours in advance), € 8 per person. Rental poles and backpacks are available.
• Aerobics & fitness room: For our fitness classes, see the weekly programme (€ 8 per person & day)
• Childcare facilities: Childcare is available at the Hotel Die Post. Subject to availability, you might be able to secure a spot for your little one. Please ask at reception for more information on available spaces during your stay.
